Thank you for registering for Pärnu Beach Race! To make that day enjoyable for everyone please read the details below. The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the event program and conditions set out in the guide.
HANDING OUT START MATERIALS FOLLOWING TIMES ON 26 and 27.10:
26.10 in the competition centre at Pärnu Keskus (Aida tn 7, I floor, in front of grocery store Selver)

NB! Race materials are handed out based on bib number, i.e. start materials are sorted by the numbers, not by names. The race number is found in the start protocol that will be published on the website of Two Bridges Sports Club on October 25th at 17:00 the latest. Therefore, please check your number from the start protocol in advance!
In case of lost, damaged or forgotten race bib, a new bib must be bought from secretariat to start the race. NB! Fee for the new race bib is 5€.
RACE CENTER ON THE BEACH STADIUM: is opened at 10:00-15:30.
ENTERING THE STADIUM: Through the gate on Kuuse street.
ENTERING THE STADIUM WITH A PRAM: Only through the foot gate on Kuuse street. It is not allowed to enter (the stadium) through the front door.
CHILDREN’S RACE: On the Pärnu Beach Stadium.Registration and handing out race materials is between 10:00-10:45. Starts are given from 11:00.
PARKING: No separate parking will be arranged for participants. Public parking spaces in the city will be used, following the general parking rules. Parking in public city parking lots is free on Sundays. However, be mindful of the requirements of paid private parking lots (such as Europark and others). We recommend parking on Tammsaare Avenue. TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENT: Kuuse street section between Kaarli street and Ranna pst is closed.
WC, CHANGEROOM, WASHING FACILITIES, SAUNA: Services are located and provided in the (utility)rooms of the stadium building until 15:30.
BAGGAGE ROOM: Attended cloakroom is located in a utility room in the stadium building. The baggage service will be operational from 11:00 to 15:00.

SEASONAL CLOCK CHANGE: Please keep in mind that Daylight Saving Time ends on October 27th and clocks are turned backward 1 hour.
START GROUPS: Each participant must start the race in the respective start group (based on the bib number), otherwise the contestant is disqualified! Enter the right start corridor in time! Start corridors for 10 km race are opened at 12.30 and for 5 km distance right after.

V group – participants with strollers
No start groups on 5 km distance.
USING NORDIC WALKING POLES ON THE STADIUM: metal tips are not allowed on the blue tartan track surface (on the stadium).
ROUTE: Distances run mainly on asphalted (light) traffic roads. 10K distance includes ca 700 meters of boardwalk. Distance markers will be placed along every 1km of the race route. See the route map here.
TIMING: An electronic timekeeping chip is attached to the back side of the bib. Please check it before the start! The number must be worn on chest and be visible throughout the whole race. Only the contestants with valid personal start number are allowed to participate. Please do not fold the number nor remove the chip. The chip deactivates automatically after finishing the race; no need to return it. Timing service is provided by ChampionChip Eesti OÜ.
SERVICE ON TRACK: On 10K route there is 1 service point where sports drink and water is offered.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION: Please bring your own cup or bottle to the course and reduce the environmental impact. There will be a water station at the start and finish area, and appropriate containers in the course service points for refilling.
FINISH: The finish will close at 15:00. Each participant will receive a bottle of water and a food packet (delicacy by Farmi and banana) at the finish.
AWARD CEREMONY: starts at 14:15. Prizes are awarded to the race top three in general ranking (both in men’s and women’s ranking) as well as to the winners in each age group. On 5K distance prizes are awarded to the top three in men’s and women’s ranking. Raffle prizes for runners and walkers.
RESULTS, PHOTOS AND DIPLOMAS: The results can be checked using the scanner in the competition centre and will be published as informal results on the website of the Two Bridges Club. The real-time results will appear on the webpage www.championchip.ee. The final results (with a diploma) will be published latest on November 1st at 17:00 on organizer’s webpage. The finish protocol is a public document. The organizer has the right to use and publish all the photos and videos made by the organizer for marketing purposes.
MEDAL: is given after finishing to 10 km race and (Nordic) walking distance completers as well as to the completers of 5 km distance.
MEDAL FOR FINISHERS OF THE TRIPLE EVENT: Contestants who have completed Dune Race (8,3km), Jüri Jaanson’s Two Bridges Race (10km) and Pärnu Beach Race (10km) will receive a special designed medal after finishing (based on the triple event finish protocol). Medal is also given for (Nordic) walkers who have completed the distance.
AFTER THE RACE: Upon request, prizes that are not picked up will be delivered at the expense of the recipient after the race. The prizes can be picked up from the shopping centre of Pärnu Keskus from October 29st to November 10th on the basis of an identity document.

HEALTH SECURITY AND FIRST AID: We recommend having a health check prior to the race. Health check can be done at family or sports physician.
Each participant is responsible for his/her health condition and ensures he/she is physically fit to complete the chosen distance. In case of health problem contestant must cancel the race and turn to the nearest service point or first aid station, contact the organisers, or call 112.
PRIOR TO START:
- Relax and do not start when tired.
- Drink enough water and choose appropriate meals.
- Check the weather conditions and get dressed accordingly.
- Choose suitable pace and avoid hypertension.
- Drink enough liquids in the service points.
