6th event of Rimi Estonian City Runs
1. Objective
• To offer the joy of movement for everyone – irrespective of age or athletic form.
• To promote a sportive lifestyle.
2. Organizer
NGO Pärnu Two Bridges Sports Club in cooperation with the sponsors.
3. Date and place
September 1th, 2024 Pärnu city, in front of Endla theatre.
4. Competition center, start, finish, track and service on track
4.1. Competition center is in Endla theatre and in Vaasa park (in front of the theatre)
4.2. Start and finish: Start is given at 12.00. Start and finish is in the same place.
4.3. Track: The track is mainly on asphalt roads, the distance is 10 km. Every kilometre is marked.
4.3.1. Track Certification: meets international requirements of IAAF, AIMS.
4.3.2. Service on track: Two refreshment stations (water, sports drink):
● Niidu meadow on 3,35 km (in cooperation with Pärnu Rowing Club);
● Next to Pärnu Rowing Center Kalev on 6,34 km (in cooperation with Pärnu Rowing Center Kalev).
4.3.3. First aid is available on the whole track. When seeing someone injured, please inform the service point, medical aid workers, the organizers or call on 112. First aid is provided by medical volunteers and Pärnu Ambulance.

6. Timing
An electronic timekeeping chip is attached to the back side of the bib. Please check it before the start! Only the contestants with the personal start number are allowed to participate. The number must be worn on the chest and be visible throughout the whole race. Please do not fold the number nor remove the chip. The chip deactivates automatically after finishing the race and there is no need to return it. Please do not cover the bib with your hand while finishing (e.g. for stopping running watch), otherwise the time might not get fixed.

8. Registration and Entry Fees
8.1. Registration Alternatives
8.1.1. Pre-registration on the website www.2silda.ee until 28.08.2024 at 23.59.
8.1.2. Pre-registration in competition center in Pärnu Keskus 29-30.08 at 12-18 and Endla theatre 31.08 at 16-21 (race day entry fee applies).
8.1.3. On the race day on site (in Endla theatre) at 10.00-11.45
8.1.4. The basis for entry in the list of participants is the start fee received. For those who have paid by the invoice, the payment is due 2 working days and the payment of entry fee is also checked within 2 working days. Participants who have paid via the bank link will be entered in the start protocol immediately.
8.2. Group registration
8.2.1. Counting from 10 members there is a discount of -15%. Discount applies when all members of the team / sports club register at the same time. No double discounts (e.g. senior / youth discount plus group discount).
8.2.2. Please use the general registration form – in the beginning of registration one can choose the number of persons one would like to register. After that you can add the data of the participants. When pressing the button “apply data of participant nr 1 on all participants”, the same address, club / company will be applied on all.
8.3. To pay with the invoice, please choose the relevant option and fill all the required fields. The invoice is sent via email. Once the invoice has been paid, all participants will be registered.

All prices include 22% VAT. Entry fee will not be refunded in case of cancellation of registration. No senior/youth/group discount during the period of 29.08-01.09.2024 .
8.5. Entry fee includes:
● Race number (nominal race bib for the elite);
● A chip (except for non-timed distance);
● An electronic diploma with name, personal time and place / participation diploma for non-timed distance;
● A participant medal;
● A sports drink;
● Usage of washing facilities;
● Service on track;
● First aid;
● Luggage storage.
9. Start groups

9.1 The runners will be divided into the start groups on August 20th, 2024. For the runners who have registered by that time the division is based on the result of Two Bridges Race 2023 however the same race number won’t be guaranteed. The runners who register from August 21st will get a start number in the last group.
9.2 Special wishes regarding start groups are considered until 20.08.2024. Such special wishes shall be sent to info@2silda.ee.
9.3 Only the first 600 places are checked from last year. If the earlier placing was more than 600, the participant will get the first free place counting from V group.
10. Re-registration
10.1. Re-registration is both a change of the distance and/or the name of the participant.
10.2. Re-registration is allowed until 28.08.2024 at 23.59 and is free of cost until July 31st. From August 1st, a service fee of 5 euros will be charged. In addition, price difference must be covered when changing between cheaper and more expensive race options. However, the price difference won’t be compensated in the opposite case. To do this, send a corresponding request to the e-mail info@2silda.ee.
10.3. Re-registration from physical to virtual will take place until 28.08.2024 at 23.59. No re-registration will take place later!
11. Giving out start materials
11.1. In the race center in Pärnu Keskus 29-30.08 at 12.00-18.00
11.2. In the race center in Endla theatre 31.08. at 16.00-21.00 and on the race day at 10.00-11.45.
11.3. In case the bib is lost, broken or forgotten one must buy a new (price 5€) from the secretariat to be able to start.
12. Results
The results are published in real time on the website of www.championchip.ee (timing service provider ChampionChip Eesti OÜ). The final results confirmed by the judges will be published on the website www.2silda.ee not later than September 6th at 17.00. Diplomas can be accessed thereafter.
13. Washing facilities
In the Sports hall of Pärnu City Schools (Kuninga 29).
14. Award ceremony
Prizes are awarded to the top three in general ranking (both in men’s and women’s ranking) as well as winners in each age group. Raffle prizes for runners and walkers.
15. (Nordic) Walking
There is a possibility to choose between timed and untimed distance. For the timed distance the time is registered based on the personal bib. Start after the runners. Contestants on non-timed distance start after the contestants on timed distance.
16. Photographing / snapshots
The organizer has the right to use and publish all the photos and videos made by the organizer for marketing purposes.
17. Appeals
All appeals against results, violations etc. must be filed in 2 hours after the finish is closed at 14.00. Appeal fee is 50 EUR which is refunded only if the appeal is satisfied. Appeals are handled by the jury that consists of the chief organizer, the head judge, and the head of secretariat. Other unforeseen cases are resolved by the Organizing Committee. Organizers reserve the right to change the terms listed in the guide, if the situation requires it.
18. General
18.1. Pärnu Two Bridges Club Triple Event series: collected results of Dune Race (8, 3 km), Jüri Jaanson’s Two Bridges Race (10 km) and Pärnu Beach Race (10 km). For more information see Two Bridges Club Triple Event Guide.
18.2. Each participant is responsible for her/his health condition. Children under 10 years of age are allowed to participate on parental permission.
18.3. Please follow the reminder for the participants that will be published on the website www.2silda.ee latest one week before the event.

19. Rights of the organizer
19.1. The organizer has the right to change the conditions set out in the instructions if the situation requires.
19.2. The organizer has the right to disqualify the participant in case he/she doesn’t follow the regulations of the event, disturbs other participants or prevents the event in any other way.
19.3. All protocols of the events organized by Two Bridges Sports Club are public documents. Start protocols will be published on the website of the Organizer and timekeeping service provider. Finish protocols will be published on the website of the Organizer and timekeeping service provider. The organizer is only responsible for the information on its official channels (webpage, Facebook, YouTube).
19.4. The organizer has the right to send to all registered participants a reminder before the event and a follow-up letter with the feedback questionnaire after the event. Corresponding newsletters are sent to the email entered to the registration form. Unsubscribing is not possible.
19.5. Your personal data will only be used for the purpose for which you have entrusted these data to us. Furthermore, no personal data will be passed on to third parties.
19.6. By registering and paying the registration fee, the participant agrees with the terms in this guide and confirms good health.
19.7. In the event of Force Majeure and other situations beyond the control of the Organizer, changes may be made to the program and service package. Force majeure means any unforeseen event of which the timing and manner cannot be controlled or prevented by the organizer (e.g. war, riot, strike, fire, flood, earthquake, (snow) storm, torrential rain, etc.).
19.7.1. Participants will be notified of any changes via email, the Club’s website and the Facebook page.
19.7.2. Due to force majeure, the participation fee will be refunded in accordance with these instructions and applicable law.
19.7.3. If the Two Bridges race is cancelled due to force majeure and with at least 72 hours’ notice before the start time, the participant will be automatically entered in the virtual Two Bridges race participant list.
19.7.4. If the registered participant does not wish to use the transfer options specified in clause 19.7.3. and wishes to receive a refund of the entry fee, he/she must submit a formally completed application to the Club by email (info@2silda.ee) within one month from the date of the missed event. The application forms will be added to the Club’s website www.2silda.ee.
19.7.5. In the event of cancellation of the event due to force majeure, the organizer of the race will not reimburse the expenses incurred by the participants to third parties. We recommend foreign participants to buy travel insurance which also covers the costs incurred in the event of cancellation of the event.
